About Me

My background is in communications strategy, with over a decade of experience partnering with social justice, education, and advocacy organizations, as well as small businesses. The greatest joy for me in my work comes through building connections. Rooted in deep relationships, the coaching and content I offer helps the people I am working with overcome challenges to become “unstuck.” My clients gain new tools and approaches that bring results right away and make their work more fruitful over the long term.

Before becoming an independent consultant, I worked for a large agency for 11 years, running communications and marketing campaigns for huge national organizations and small nonprofits alike, including charitable foundations, school districts, advocacy groups, arts organizations, labor unions, and more. I spent this time learning from experts and changemakers, helping small organizations build communications infrastructure for the first time, and helping larger organizations shape brands and launch campaigns. I led multidisciplinary teams in training and facilitation, graphic and web design, execution of social media, digital advocacy, content creation, media, and advertising. Championing and advancing causes such as ocean conservation, school attendance, racial justice in the outdoor and environmental movement, foster youth services, equitable COVID-recovery, public benefits programs, early childhood education, and so much more.

After a year of sabbatical, exploring nature and the world, I am thrilled to be working with clients again. My central aim is to bring each client closer to their big goals and more prepared for the future than when we met. In this chapter of my career, I am especially enjoying the opportunity to work with clients who might not have huge budgets, but where I can make a big difference.

In my free time, I am a lover of travel, food, nature, and outdoor adventures. You’re equally likely to find me diving under the sea, as befriending local cats and dogs or traipsing through the forest.
